It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

Can you believe it's only four days until Christmas? This year has gone SO fast! Usually, I'm way too excited for Christmas but this year I haven't been. I went to Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park on Tuesday, which really got me in the Christmas spirit. If you've ever been to London near Christmas, you'll know how magical it looks! The only low point of the day was it rained and my hair actually froze going into the Magical Ice Kingdom because it's -9 in there!

I was actually super organised this year and finished all my Christmas shopping in November, but have not had much motivation to start the task of wrapping all the presents, even though I usually looove it. Today, I thought I'd just get it all over and done with and now I'm all snuggled up in bed, with the fairy lights on, watching Christmas films - perfect!

Are you excited for Christmas?

A couple of weeks ago, I was lucky enough to go away on a lil mini-holiday, to get away from everything, for a few days. I shared a picture of where I was staying over on my Instagram and a few of you seemed interested, so I thought I'd show you the place with better pictures haha! My boyfriend's mum had booked with the company 'Cottages4you' a few times before and has enjoyed it every time. None of us had gone away this summer so we thought a few days away would be perfect! We chose to stay in Suffolk because we all love that area and it's not that far away so it meant that we didn't have to drive for hours, which is always a huge plus. The house we stayed in was pretty big, I'd never stayed in a house so big before! Overall, it has around 12 rooms, it even has it's own pool, snooker room and a piano! There are four bedrooms, which would be perfect for a big family or group of friends!

The house is situated in the countryside so the surroundings were absolutely beautiful! I miss the country walks already! The only downside was that the house felt so big for just the three of us, so it definitely felt a bit scary sometimes..or that may have been due to the fact we watched Insidious on the first night, who knows?

Overall, I loved staying here and we're already thinking of staying in a place like this again next Christmas, which is exciting!

Have you ever used 'Cottages4you'? or if you haven't would you? :)
