Barry M Hi-Shine Gelly Nail Paints | £3.99 each

Last year when I was in Brighton for my birthday, I picked up my first Gelly nail polish in the shade Blueberry and it lasted on my nails for 10 days! I quickly fell in love and went on to purchase five more in the shades Lychee, Papaya, Dragon Fruit, Greenberry and Prickly Pear. I'm now completely obsessed with them, they are perfect! The formula is lovely and applies like a dream and because it isn't gloopy and thick it dries pretty quickly and leaves the nails with really glossy opaque finish!

When I heard about the new Spring collection, I knew that I'd have to have them! There are three shades in the collection and they're all really pretty milky pastel shades!

Sugar Apple - a pastel minty turquoise
Huckleberry - a milky pale blue
Rose Hip - a pale milky pink

As soon as they arrived, I applied Rose Hip really quickly, I didn't even bother to apply a base or top coat and they still looked really lovely and glossy. You only need about two coats and they're opaque. If I was doing my nails properly I probably would have applied around three coats, but two is fine if you're in a rush. Rose Hip is the only one I've tried so far and it's a really lovely strawberry milkshake shade and it's one of those colours that make your hands look more tanned than they actually are!

Overall, I'm really in love with these and I think they will definitely be my go-to polishes for Spring. When I purchased these you could only buy them from Tesco or Superdrug, but I think you get them from Boots and all the other regular places now too!

Beauty Haul

Boots Haul March 2014

I'm sorry for the lack of posts and the fact I haven't really been sticking to my blogging schedule. As I've mentioned before my Grandad is really poorly at the moment and is currently in Intensive Care and I like to visit him a lot so I've literally had no time to blog! Hauls used to be pretty popular on my blog and when I started to save for my holiday the monthly hauls had to stop, but recently I have been shopping a little bit more so there should be a few more hauls to be featured soon! I did actually go to Primark today so I'll definitely do a Primark haul soon :)

Original Source Coconut Shower Gel | £2.30 250ml
After trying and loving the Vanilla & Raspberry Original Source Shower Gel, I thought I'd get another one for my holiday. I chose the Coconut scent, purely because it smells so amazing and has that lovely tropical holiday scent to it!

Barry M Gelly Nail Polishes in Huckleberry, Sugar Apple, Mango and Rose Hip | £3.99 each
I'm not sure if I've mentioned before, but my favourite nail polishes are definitely the Gelly collection from Barry M! They apply like a dream, are long lasting and really affordable. As soon as I heard about the Spring collection I knew I had to get them, I actually bought these from Superdrug and luckily they had an offer on so you could buy 2 for £6 so I bought the whole Spring collection and a really bright orange shade called Mango!

Essie Nail Polish in Blanc | £7.99 13.5ml
I haven't tried many Essie nail polishes, but the ones I have tried I've found really long lasting. When I'm on holiday I don't really like to repaint my nails, unless I really have to! I'm obsessed with white nails, so I thought I'd get this for my holiday and wear it with Ibiza Mix, they look amazing together!

Models Own Nail Polish in Ibiza Mix | £5.00
I have such a love/hate relationship with Models Own nail polishes, there are some that I really do love and they're lovely to apply, but some just take ages to dry and I have no time for that! I first bought Ibiza Mix all the way back in 2012 and I have been in love ever since, I thought It was time I finally repurchased!

Quickies Nail Varnish Remover Pads | £1.50
Just in case I do have to paint my nails while I'm away I thought I'd pick up these!

Clean and Clear Deep Cleansing Lotion For Sensitive Skin | £2.99 200ml
I first started to use this cleanser when I first started to get into skincare when I was probably around 11, It works so well on my skin and leaves it feeling super clean and clears spots up pretty quickly!

Mark Hill Holiday Hair Protection Spray | £5.99 50ml
Recently I've been loving reading posts about what products people love to take away on holiday with them, a lot of people kept mentioning protection sprays for their hair and the last time I went on holiday I literally didn't think of it, so I picked this one up from Mark Hill!

Real Techniques Expert Face Brush | £9.99
Another haul, another new makeup brush! I do already have one of these and I'm so in love with it I always use it to apply my foundation and concealer, but it's so annoying to only have one foundation brush I actually like using. I've also recently lost my buffing brush, so I'm going to have to buy the whole set again :(

L'Oreal Paris Lumi Magique Primer | £9.99 20ml
Since really getting into makeup, primers haven't been something I've tried many of, I have pretty dry skin anyway so I mostly wouldn't bother using one, that was until I tried this! I won't go into too much detail as I will definitely do a review as I love this so much and repurchase again and again, this must be my fourth tube of this!

No7 Instant Radiance Highlighter | £9.95 5g
After seeing so many glowing reviews of this, I knew I needed to try it out! So whilst I did a small Boots order online I added this to the basket, but sadly it turned up really broken and obviously, I still haven't had time to return it for a new one, so I think I'll just have to buy a new one! :(

Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balms in Elusive & Unapologetic | £7.99 each
Another product I've heard so many amazing things about and I gave in to the hype! Again, I won't go into too much detail as I do want to review these, but I am loving them so far!

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer | £4.19
I've been obsessed with this Concealer since around 2011 and I still repurchase again and again, the only downside is that it's always sold out!

L'Oreal Paris Volume Million Lashes Mascara in Black Waterproof | £10.99
I haven't ever really found any holy grail mascaras, but I have been loving the original version of this mascara, so I thought I'd pick up the waterproof one to try!

Garnier Micellar Water

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water | £4.99 400ml
As you would have seen in my last haul, I picked up the L'Oreal Cleansing Water, but I originally did want to try the Garnier one, it was annoyingly sold out at the time though, but I thought I'd get the Garnier one anyway so I can compare the two!

I hope you enjoyed this haul!

Growing My Hair

How I Restored My hair
This is my hair completely natural (without product or heat used)

My hair is something I don't usually talk too much about on my blog and recently I've been getting a few questions regarding my hair so I thought I'd do a post all about my hair and some products I'd recommend if you're trying to grow your hair, or improve the condition!

Since 2009 until probably around 2012, I constantly dyed my hair and I always used heat without any protection. I dyed my hair various different colours ranging from black, brown, red, purple and blonde. The dye I always seemed to go for was XXL Live, I loved this dye and so did a lot of my friends, but it's SO damaging! I didn't ever think about how healthy my hair was until I was at the hairdressers and I really wanted to go blonde and they basically said how rubbish the condition was and if they did attempt to colour it there was a chance a lot of my hair could snap and break off. They suggested I tried a couple of products from K√©rastase to help restore it, so I did!

As you can imagine I had a lot of colour build up, so I thought It was best I finally got rid of it all, if you've read my blog for a while you'll know that I used Colour B4 and I actually haven't dyed my hair since then!

My hair has grown huge amounts in the past two years, I probably only get it cut around twice a year now, just because I found it felt more healthy the less it was cut. I am thinking about changing my hair colour in the next couple of months so I'll let you know how I get on if I do!

Kerastase Shampoo

K√©rastase Resistance Bain de Force Reinforcing Shampoo | £14.45 250ml
This is the shampoo my hairdresser recommended, this literally restored my hair. I didn't blog back then, but I really wish I had before and after pictures to show you. If you have really damaged and weakened hair I 100% recommend this!

Avon Planet Spa Hair Mask

Avon Planet Spa Heavenly Hydration Hair Mask
 | £5.50 200ml

When I was trying to get my hair back into a healthy condition, I loved trying out different hair masks and treatments, I bought this on a whim, but little did I know how amazing this would be! I actually haven't bought this in a while and I think they've changed the packaging now, but this is so amazing there is literally nothing I have ever tried that makes my hair any softer than this. I recommend this 100%

Herbal Essences Hello Hydration

Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Shampoo & Conditioner | £3.99 each 400ml
Even when my hair was really damaged I found that my hair did still get oily pretty quickly and most hydrating shampoos just added to that. These left my hair feeling amazingly soft and hydrated, but also lovely and clean without weighing it down! I haven't actually used these in a while, but as I've been kind of neglecting my hair recently I thought I'd pick them up again. I also saw that they now do a 'Hello Hydration Treatment' which I definitely need to try, it sounds amazing!

Avon Morrocan Oil

Advance Techniques 360 Nourishment Moroccan Argan Oil Leave in Treatment | £5.50 30ml
After hearing all the hype surrounding Morrocan Oil I really wanted to try it, but I really didn't have much money to spare at the time, so I thought I'd pick up the dupe from Avon. I love this, I can't believe how well it works for the price! I hadn't used this for a while, so I used it the other night and couldn't believe how soft my hair felt, it smells amazing too!

Tangle Teezer

Tangle Teezer | £10.99
I literally cannot remember what I used before owning a Tangle Teezer. Having long hair means it does get tangled a lot, but since having a Tangle Teezer it's literally not a problem and I think the main reason my hair finally started to grow was that my hair wasn't constantly being damaged from various hair brushes!

I feel like this post was a massive ramble, but I hope you enjoyed it anyway!

MAC Lipstick in Heroine | £15.00

I still remember how excited I was when I bought my first MAC lipstick, as soon as I got into reading blogs I started to really lust over trying them, but as there wasn't a store near me I waited until I was at Duty Free. Since then, I've picked up a fair few and I'm pretty obsessed with them, I just don't think other lipsticks compare. (I'll probably do a MAC lipstick collection soon, if you'd like to see that!)

The newest addition to my collection is Heroine. At the beginning of the year I became obsessed with purple lips and was on the hunt for the perfect purple lipstick, that was until I saw the beautiful Emma Willis wearing Heroine, I instantly fell in love and knew I needed that lipstick in my life!

Heroine was originally released back in 2012 with the Reel Sexy collection, before MAC brought it back permanently. I'm still gutted I didn't pick up 'Watch Me Simmer' from the Reel Sexy collection and I'd love them to bring that back too!

MAC describe this lipstick as a 'bright purple' with a matte finish.

For a matte lipstick, I found this really lovely and creamy, it glides on the lips easily and is opaque in one swipe. Its lasting power is pretty good and lasts a good few hours, before fading and leaving a pink stain on the lips. I know a lot of you may think this is a really scary shade, but I love it. I do think I may be currently slightly too pale for this and it would look better with a little bit of tan though!

What are your thoughts on Heroine, or MAC lipsticks in general?

Vitamin E Hot Cloth Cleanser

Superdrug Vitamin E Hot Cloth Cleanser Review
Superdrug Vitamin E Hot Cloth Cleanser Review
Superdrug Vitamin E Hot Cloth Cleanser | £4.99 200ml

Hot Cloth Cleansers have been something I've wanted to try ever since Louise raved about the Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser ages ago. I'm terrible when it comes to skincare, but as my skin has been pretty bad recently, I've been trying to stick to a routine. During a recent trip to Superdrug, I thought I'd pick something up from the Vitamin E range, as I'd heard so many good things about it and I was really happy to see they had a Hot Cloth Cleanser!

In the box, you receive one muslin cloth and 200ml of product. The texture of the cleanser itself is pretty thick and creamy, I actually really like the smell, it's sort of a sun cream/cocoa butter type of scent. The muslin cloth is quite rough which I like because you can really feel it removing your makeup and cleaning your skin.

I've completely fallen in love with this cleanser and I will definitely repurchase when I run out! I love how soft and plump this leaves my skin feeling, the cleanser I was using before was pretty harsh and always left my skin feeling dry, which I really didn't like. I really want to try a few more products from the Vitamin E Range, they also have another Hot Cloth Cleanser, that is meant to help with brightening the skin which I'm eager to try!

Have you tried this before? What are your thoughts on 'Hot Cloth Cleansers'?

Since I redecorated my room in October, I've been really wanting to do a room tour, but I just kept forgetting... Until I received an email a couple of weeks ago asking If I had one on my blog, so I thought it was time I finally do it! I really love reading these posts myself and I must have watched hundreds of different room tours whilst I was getting inspiration! I did try to label where everything was from, but if there is something I've missed or if there is something you would like the direct link to - feel free to either leave a comment or tweet me!
