The Cats

Belle Chaton Izzy
Belle Chaton Oli
Belle Chaton Fred
Belle Chaton George

Hello lovelies! As I've mentioned before, I have four cats and I recently realised I haven't actually ever introduced them properly on my blog and as I have a cat themed review coming up soon, I thought now was the best time to do this...

Isabella / Izzy & Oliver / Oli:
Izzy (the tabby) and Oli (black and white) are brother and sister and are now four years old. Izzy is the only girl and this does sometimes make her feel outnumbered and really unconfident. She's really playful, but also loves a good cuddle. She has the loudest meow and if she wants something (food, attention, to go out) she will defiently let you know haha! She can actually jump up at door handles and open the doors much to our annoyance! Oli is a lot more quiter and laid back compared to his sister, he usually sleeps throughout the day and likes to play with very noisy toys on the stairs at 2am. He's very very shy, so if visitors ever come over, he'll be hiding under my bed until they leave. He's a big softie at heart though and loves a cuddle, especially if you're wearing a onesie!

Fred & George:
The ginger twins. These boys came in to my life back in 2011 and my blog was kind of named after them. They were six weeks old when we brought them home and you can imagine how tiny they were! I was trying to think of a blog name at the time and I settled with 'Belle Chaton' I was going to have 'Belle Chatons' as there are two of them, but it just didn't sound as good! If you haven't guessed already Fred and George are named after the Weasley twins from Harry Potter and they're now three years old. Fred is the smallest cat and can still get away of being called a kitten because he's so tiny, but he seems to think he's the leader of the pack. He's been aware of cameras since he was a baby and he now always has to be in the limelight, as soon as that camera switches on he will be over there trying to get involved, I always say he'd make the perfect Youtube cat! Example:

Belle Chaton Fred

He's probably the nicest one to people, he's always up for a cuddle or a stroke. He's literally SO obsessed with treats though and knows which drawer they're kept in and will cry until he get's what he wants! George is extremely playful and is a lot bigger than Fred, because he looves his food! When he's not eating he's crying at you for more food! George is very independent and doesn't always like to be stroked, everything has to be on his terms and he'll claw you if you don't stick to his rules! He's often seen carrying toys around in his mouth, sleeping in awkward places such as next to the toilet and getting up to mischief with his brother Fred!

Thank you for reading about my kitties. If you have a cat, I'd love you to tell me about them in the comments!

25 Facts About Me TAG

I don't know about you, but I love getting to know all about the blogger behind the blog. I realise I haven't actually said much on here about me personally, so I was thinking of doing a fact post, but I struggled to think of even five! So, I had a quick look on Google and found this '25 Facts TAG' I don't know how well this will go down, but fingers crossed you enjoy reading it :)

What is your middle name?: Louise.
What was favourite subject at school?: Probably English.
What is your favourite drink?: Ooh, Volvic in the Lemon & Lime flavor!
What is your favourite song at the moment?: I can’t stop listening to All I Want - Kodaline
What is your favourite food?: Pasta!
What is the last thing you bought?: The past month I've gone through one of those stages where I feel like I hate all the clothes I own, so I took to eBay and I've been selling SO many things and I've made just under £300 so far, which is amazing! Online shopping is my downfall though and I've now bought a fair few things, so I'll do a haul once it's all here!
Favourite book of all time?: If you know me personally, you'll know how OBSESSED I am with Harry Potter. I love the Books and the Movies. The Books are something I've read loads of times already, but always seem to go back to and read again and again, I never get bored!
Favourite Colours?: Pink & Mint
Do you have any pets?: Two Rabbits called Luna and Neville and Four Cats; Oliver/Oli, Isabelle/Izzy, Fred and George!
Favourite Perfume?: Dot by Marc Jacobs!
Favourite Holiday?: Probably when I went on holiday with my Nan and Grandad to Aldeburgh when I was around 11. It was such a simple holiday, but I loved it SO much. It's one of those holidays that has the most amazing memories!
Are you married?: No.
Have you ever been out of the country, if so how many times?: Yes, but only twice!
Do you speak any other language?: Not really no, but I wish I could!
How many siblings do you have?: Two half brothers.
What is your favourite shop?: My favourite shop to actually go into will have to be Lush. It smells beyond amazing, I love looking at all the different products and I always find the staff are really lovely people!

Favourite restaurant?: I don't really have one at the moment, I used to be obsessed with The Harvester, but not so much anymore..
When was the last time you cried?: As my Grandad passed away recently, crying is a regular occurrence at the moment :(
Favourite Blog?: I couldn't choose one! The blogs I've been really enjoying reading recently are: Beauty Babbles, Melaniee, Loulabeth, Rosie Pops, Literature and Lipstick, ShivonMakeupBiz and Lipgloss and Lashes. There are probably lots more, but these are the ones I could think of on the top of my head!
Favourite Movie?: I can never choose one, so get ready for a list! HARRY POTTER OBVS, Sleeping Beauty, Alice in Wonderland, Tangled, Frozen, The Beach and P.S I Love You.
Favourite TV show?: Again, I can't choose one :( I'm rubbish at choosing haha. I love Criminal Minds, American Horror Story, Gossip Girl and more recently I binged watch Pretty Little Liars and I was actually surprised how much I loved it. I'm now watching Season 5, but I can only watch one episode a week, which is torture!
PC or Mac?: PC
What phone do you have?: Gold iPhone 5S
How tall are you?: Around 5ft 5?
Can you cook?: I'm no Nigella Lawson believe me, but I do enjoy cooking!

I won't tag anyone to do this, but if you fancy doing it be sure to leave me a comment as I'd love to read your answers :)

I love cats. I have four of my own (which I'll mention more about in another post) and my blog name is also cat related! Cat cafes have been extremely popular in Japan for over 10 years and the concept has fascinated for ages, but I never thought I would have the chance to go... Whilst I was in Mexico and nursing my horrible sunburn I was Googling all about cat cafes and found that there is one in New York. Obviously, I felt like a trip to New York was essential, that was until I heard about 'Lady Dinah's Cat Emporium' which is located in Shoreditch, London. Lady Dinah's was named after Alice's cat in Alice in Wonderland and is home to eleven cats, which you can read all about here. The cafe itself is beautiful and is pretty spacious. It's spread over two different floors, the first floor is your traditional shabby chic tea room, downstairs has various different tables, chairs, sofas and it also has the best cat jungle gym I've ever seen!

I booked as soon as I got home from Mexico and went on 8th July and I had a time slot of 1.15 (Time slots run from 11am - 9pm). Each session lasts two hours and they supply toys and cat brushes so you can make the most of your time with the cats! The staff are really lovely and pretty laid back, they only ask you don't pick up the cats, or wake them if they're sleeping to make sure they continue feeling safe and happy! It's £5 per person to enter and obviously, there is food and drink to buy. didn't feel that hungry, so I just had a slice of red velvet cake which was uh-mazing! and I finally tried rose lemonade which I loved! I did see someone have a pot of tea, in a CAT TEAPOT though, amazing! On the way out, there's a little shop where you can buy cute merchandise. I bought a Tote Bag (£5) Cat Ears (£5) Postcard (£1) and the Badges were £1.50 each!

I had the most amazing time and I'll definitely be returning soon. I highly recommend if you've been thinking of going to book ASAP! Head over to the Lady Dinah's website here to find out more and feel free to leave me a comment with any questions you may have.

PS - If you're a cat lady like me, I also suggest you follow their Instagram for pictures and videos of the cats aaaand follow their Twitter as they often post when there is extra availability from cancellations!

Topshop Celestial and Models Own Indian Ocean
Topshop Celestial | £5.00 \ Models Own Indian Ocean | £5.00

A while back now, I saw a picture on Instagram that Jess from Jambers8 uploaded of her nails. You know when you see a picture and you're like OH MY GAD I NEED IT!It was one of those times, so I purchased the nail polishes she used immediately!

Topshop nail polishes have to be my favourite, they glide so easily on the nails and are opaque in two coats. Annoyingly I don't have many as my local Topshop doesn't stock any makeup, so I usually wait until I order online or am in Chelmsford! Celestial was a shade I'd been lusting over for a while and if I remember correctly Beauty Crush raved about this too? Celestial is a beautiful pale blue shade with a creme finish and it looks lovely just on its own or with a little glitter over the top!

As I've mentioned before I don't actually like Models Own nail polishes that much. I know so many people LOVE them, but I can't seem to get on with most of them! Indian Ocean is from the Beetlejuice collection and is one of the few Models Own nail polishes I actually like. It's a very sheer pale blue shade, with pink to violet duo-chrome and I personally think it only looks nice with a base colour underneath, it's too sheer to wear on the nails alone.

These two together are so so beautiful and look amazing when the light hits them, which makes them perfect for Summer! I have them on my nails currently, but I don't think these are all that long lasting, they only lasted on my nails for a few days before chipping, boo!

PS - I don't think the pictures do them justice, sorry!

Have you tried these two together?

My MAC Lipstick Collection | Part 2

Hello lovelies! Today I'm back with the second part of my MAC lipstick collection, now before I get into it I just want to say how bad the lighting has been in my room recently, which obviously conveniently happened after my studio lighting lamp broke. I've attempted to photograph these lipsticks on three different occasions, so I hope they're okay!

Floral Harry Potter iPhone5s Case | £15.00

In April I finally upgraded my phone from the iPhone 4s to the iPhone 5s, exciting! Obviously, I needed a cute phone case to go with it and I remembered a few bloggers mention a lovely little company on Etsy called 'Hello Floral' so I thought I'd have a look and I fell in love! All the cases are so beautifully designed and fit various different models. I'd seen a lot of people get the 'Personalised Floral Starbucks Case'  and I nearly went for this one, but I decided to get one of the Harry Potter ones in the end. If you know me personally, you'll know I have the biggest obsession with Harry Potter and have done for years!

Once I had ordered it only took just over a week to arrive and I'm really happy with it! I was a little worried how it would fit because others I have bought on eBay have been a bit rubbish, but this is perfect!
